Well, after sitting in the airport for 4 hours, not three as planned, just to sit on a plane for fourteen hours after that, we finally made it to Sydney! So far its been a blur of fast food, weird looking bills and change and downtown Sydney, which reminds me quite a bit of downtown Los Angeles, but without the mom+pop resturants. We're about to head down to the bay to scope out the area where the opening ceremonies will be tomorrow, we might be taking a cruise of the bay to sightsee a bit and to get a better view of the opera house. Today is pretty much unplanned, more of a day to get acclimated to the 17 hour, yes, not ten, not even 15, but 17 hour time difference. We're having a great time so far and the real fun hasn't even started! We'll keep you all posted!
