Our Teens Shine!

Our teens shine in a crowd of hundreds of thousands! Today we experienced the first day of WYD 2008. The opening mass was incredible with a full presentation with no less than 100 priests, bishops and cardinals filling the stage for a two hour + impressive celebration, second to non our first timers to WYD have experienced, myself included! Leading up to that it was a full day of our group walking through the crowds with many groups stopping ours to ask, "Where in the USA are you from?" As our teens stop and talk and trade items and stories of their home town and experiences so far here, the other teens from all over the world are not let down by the warmth and enthusiasm our teens have. The feelings are very mutual between all countries represented here, they want to be here and want to meet each other. Let's all be proud of the representation we have from St. Thomas Aquinas, Ojai, California USA to the rest of the World Youth!!
